We just moved into a new home and lately he is been acting like a little bossy. Yesterday he says to me, 'U should straighten out the bed in the morning, because I dont want to come home to a bed that is not made' I am like what the heck. Girls i thought that this was so funny b/c he knows I am not the housewoman type. And he has never said this to me before. I really didnt say anything to him b/c I thought he is out of his mind. So i thought to myself should i or shouldnt' i do it. I did make the bed this morning before I left but I didnt make his lunch. So if he wants the bed made he will have to sacrifice having his lunch made.
I mean does anyone else have and FH that can be bit demanding around the house sometimes. I guess it makes them feel like 'The Man'
That'll learn em.

FH has serious thing about dishes in the sink. They have to be in the dish washer or put away, but never in the sink. He'd freak over a spoon. For the most part FH and I take turns doing most chores, or we do them together. Every so often one of us will do extra chores just to be nice and get them done, but I don't think either of us has ever made the bed when company wasn't coming over.

My Fh doesnt care about anything...Im the one who is obsessed with the house...maybe bc I let things pile up and then I freak out...he just gets mad when he has nothing to wear...I just show him the way to the wash machine...most of my clothes are dry cleaned so I do slack off of his laundry

How does one make the bed? Not in my vocabulary. I'm just going to sleep in it in a few hours anyway. FH makes his bed only so the cats don't get their hair all over his sheets. But I plan to lock them out of the bedroom when we get an apartment together.

He would have definitely gotten smacked upside the head.
I would think this is a good time to talk about who does what chores around the house. We share the load equally at home, even the boys have chores.
I'm with you on that one. If my FH said that to me, my reply would be straight-faced- you want the bed made, do it yourself.
