We have been in contact with my RH on many occasions. We went over things in May when we paid the last payment. I had wanted 2 carving stations during our buffet dinner and they were going to throw it in for free. They now told me that the carvings stations were going to be during the CH. Our CH is butler style and it would look stupid to have someon cutting meat over on the side. I am so upset. They told me if I dont want the Carving station I can have a mini vienesse at the end with cordials, pasteries and cookies. I really want the carving stations though. It doesnt stipulate that it was for the ch on the contract- it is actually written in undernieth the buffet part. Should I fight this or let it go. My dad is having a holy fit and Jerry just says forget about it all. i dont know what to do
*** UPDATED after fighting with Jerry about this and arguing with the RH I am getting the carving stations for the 1st hour of the buffet. I cant handle this stress anymore!

I don't se what the big deal is for them to have it at the biffet during dinner instead of CH. They are giving it to you anyway, so it's not changing anything cost wise... I would fight it and point out that the contract has it listed as part of dinner, not CH and that's really how you wanted it. There's not reason you can't have what you want, this is so not an extravagant request.

dont' fight over it but definitely try to do something about it ... if it doesn't work out, then let it go

My carving stations (2) are also at my cocktail hr..also having 2 pasta stations at the cocktail hr.... This works as the passing of the finger food takes time, and they rotate what comes out, and some people don't take each and every thing, so this way they can munch on the stuff they took from the stations while they pick and choose and wait for their favorites to be brought around. I wouldn't worry about it....As long as people are fed, and the food is good then people will be happy.

I don't know, I was at a wedding recently and the carving stations were during the butler style CH. Nobody really cared, as long as they were able to eat what was being passed and hit the stations. It made it a little different, but still elegant. Either way should be ok...
