I can't believe this: WHAT SHOULD I DO?? UPDATED

The decision that I'm going to make is TOTALLY up to you girls... FH is going to KILL me but: I'm really not happy with my e-party dress. I have been thinking about this for WEEKS now. I'm not comfortable when I wear it, it's beautiful and everyone tells me I look good it in but I'm just not in love. I know it seems like it's not that big of a deal BUT fh will be upset at the fact that I'm thinking about going out and getting another dress b/c of the $$. I wish so bad I could return the dress I have but it was made very clear to me that it was strictly a NO refund purchase.

Honestly, I got talked into buying it after only trying on a few dresses at one store-- and I think it was a bad decision I really don't know what to do-- I spent money on this (wasn't that much, FH was happy b/c he thought I was going to spend hundreds of dollars and we argued before going shopping about the expense of it) but now if I go out and buy another dress it could add up to that amount. I mean, how many e-parties do you have in a lifetime?? I'm dreading looking at myself in all the pics and seeing our 100+++ guests!!

IDK ladies!!! I'm sick to my stomach over the fact that I might have to tell him I'm not happy and want to go shopping for something else...
any suggestions?? WHAT should I do?? Keep it even though I'm SO not happy with it?? Shop for another? I look on websites all day long at work and see all these beautiful dresses that I think would be better for me!! Please help-- thanks so much, I appreciate any feedback....

UPDATE:
i posted already that FH took it really well and agreed with me and suggested ebay-- my only problem now is WHERE to go for the dress?? I had a tough time the first time around looking-- the selection was not so good-- I like silk chiffon, what stores should i try???

i'll try looking at some of the places you guys already suggested... I'm going to look tomorrow night-- any other places you can think of for dresses?? it's a day e-party on sunday from 1-5.

where should i go?? TIA!

I am sorry you are having 2nd thoughts about your E-Party dress.. did you think about looking at Estelles on Rt 110?? They have gorgeous dress, a huge selection and they are SO cheap.. Maybe check there out.. Good Luck Sweetie!!

I think you should go out and buy another dress and while you're out stop by victoria's secret. That way when you show him the new dress before he has a chance to say anything pull out the lingere, lol. It's worth a shot.

I just bought a few cute dresses at Ann Taylor. Their sale rack is usually pretty good. I went to the one at the World Financial Center. They sometimes have the late season Collections dresses. They range from $30 - $80.

OMG LINGERIE!!! that is TOO funny-- and would TOTALLY work with my FH!!! LOL

UPDATE: i just spoke with him, i was literally almost crying trying to tell him-- but he was completely understanding and he saw how much it meant to me so he said without hesitation that i should get another dress...

he suggested putting the first one on ebay-- so i'm going to go shopping after we get home from our vaca this weekend. i'm so happy-- he was so nice about it!! he said we'll do what we can to afford it... i was shocked, all that worry for almost nothing!!!

OK WHAT STORES SHOULD I LOOK AT??? i saw someone post about nordstroms on another thread!!! and i looked online at the site and they have beautiful dresses-- i like silk organza-- any suggestions on that?????

thats a good idea ...im sure someone will buy it on ebay and if not....just wear it for something else!!!! i would def get a nother dress if i wasnt happy with that on e

Try Marshall's. Seriously. One ofthe superstores. I bought a Vera Wang dress for a wedding I'm going to next week for $100. It's probably like 3 seasons old, but its cheap!

Honestly... I wouldn't buy another dress... You bought that one b/c you must have liked something about it... and I am in the fashion industry and I know the suck you in... but I think... it is just a party... I know you only have 1 party... but some people don't even have that. So if everyone say you look gorgeous in it and you think you are going to spend a lot more money on another dress... I would just keep that one and spend the money somewhere else...

thanks for the suggestions: i def think if i can get some money on ebay for the dress OR wear it somewhere else to get my money's worth out of it i will and FH is happy with that and agrees...

I would try Lord and Taylor - the Lord and Taylor in Manhattan has 2 stores FULL OF DRESSES!!! the one in Manhasset has nice dresses too - I just bought an Anne Klein dress that was marked down from $250 - and I got it for $90 after my 20% off coupon

I still have the coupon if your interested - but trust me - they always have pretty dresses!!!
