I cant believe we are half way through 09.....

......and there is nothing going on on the 11 boards

hmmm maybe with this economy less people are getting engaged i did read an article that a lot of already engaged couples have changed their plans by either pushing back their dates or having smaller weddings to save money. With a recession guys maybe are waiting to buy the ring. Because it is surprising, usually 2 years ahead of time you'd see a decent amount of ppl on here

This is true and people I know who are engaged either got engaged before me or right after me and they are having such long engagements

it does make sense, and probably scary for guys to buy a ring when so many people worry about their jobs. Freaking recession messing everything up
