My FH and I went out for dinner tonight, and I put Bella in her crate, and when I got home she was running aroung the apartment. I KNOW i locked the cage. How the hell did she open it from the inside???????? I think I'll just call her Houdini for now one!!!!
Has this happened to anyone else....?????

My Mom's dog used to be able to lock himself in his cage when it was time to go to bed, but let himself out of a locked one nope!! You have a genius on your hands, Congrats!!!!

Thats funny- puppies can do strange things- one time i put a harness and a fairly snug sweater on reggie and I put him in his crate, when I came home the sweater was laying neatly folded in the corner of the cage with his harness- As if he said ' no thanks Ma! !

Baby did this a few times and destroyed the basement. We had locked her crate but later realized not the right way. We have the one's that you have to lift up the door and put the latch through. Well we hadn't lifted the door and just put the latch through. She easily undoes it then. Now we make sure to double check it.

Just be careful, my moms friends dog was getting out of the cage like that, squeezing through the door, and one day she came home and the dog had strangled himself trying to get out of the cage
Not trying to scare you or anything, but as a dog owner myself, I would be devistated if anything happened to my dog, and I dont want to see anything happen to anyone elses babies!
