I cant belive this

With less than 8 weeks to go Davids Bridal tells me they cant get me my bridesmaid dress. I ordered this in April. After waiting the normal 8 weeks ( i gave them 12) I call and they said its schedualed for next week but they will try and get it for me sooner.

Well I call today and they wont have the dress. The girl on the other end is a moron doesnt have any answers for me or explanations. Just they cant get me the dress.

I cant belive I have to look for this all over again

Just needed to vent

I am so sorry that this is happeing, I would go in to the store, and demand to speak to a manager, and don't leave unitl they have it figured out.

Is this the one in Carle Place? I've had MULTIPLE problems with them. You should get down there as soon as you can and demand to speak to a manager. Raise he**!! Other brides will pay attention. You should also try to contact the main David's Bridal branch, too. Good luck!!

I went to the one in Carles Place initially and didnt like the service. SO I went to one in LIC. Next thing you know they will lose my dress during the alterations

I am so sorry!! That really ****s!! I wisk you the best of luck finding a bms dress!!!! Maybe at this point your better off going to Macy's and buy dresses off the rack. They have a great selection for formal wear!!

That is horrible! Any bride who hasn't gone dress shopping should avoid david's bridal. They have great prices, but I went in, found a dress, but it was 18 months before my wedding, and the told me it would be in within 3 months and I would have to tkae it home and hold on to it until I was ready for alterations! Not for 15 months, no thank you. I walked right out. Macy's sound like a good idea. Also, try Roosevelt Field Mall they have a Jessica McClintock store and it's reasonably priced. It's on the second floor. Across from Au Bon Pan.

My MOH got her dress at Jessica McClintock and it is really gorgeous and not too expensive. (And, surprisingly, she didn't need alterations)

I had a great experience with David's Bridal, although I am really nervous about picking my dress up from alterations - no matter what I am taking it home that day, I have heard too many bad things.

go to the store and talk to the manager. be firm but not ranting. bring receipts and tell her everything. sounds like they didn't even order them until recently (if they even did that) and you or who bought the dresses should be compensated or they should order you dresses and tell them THEY are playing for the rush expense since this is not something that you were told might happen. Keep telling them you WANT IT DONE. Make sure you firmly state how you will make sure everyone you know will find out how rotten sales help they are and not to go in there. That's the last thing they want. Fax the main office if you have to.

Maybe Lord and Taylor's or Bloomindales or Macy's will have dresses the girls can wear if David's doesn't pull through. I'm so sorry this happened!
