I cant deal... [long]
I NEVER have posted my personal stuff on here [in regards to family and illnesses] but I just got really bad news and all I can think of to help myself get through the next 4 hours of work are talk about it.
Basically this year has been REALLY bad for me. My mother who is the DEAREST person to my heart suddenly found out she had colon cancer. This is a woman who's NEVER been sick in her life and is the most active woman and BEST mother anyone could ever ask for. She had me at the age of 44 and my father was 50. I was QUITE the surprise
So anyway- colon cancer- stage 2- had surgery, recovered and is cancer free! A few short months later we find out she has stage 1 lung cancer. Had surgery, and is cancer free! FOR GOOD now... She went through ALOT and is a very strong woman and it was very hard for me to see her at a weak stage in her life.
So as soon as we start getting all this great news about my mom being cancer free, my dad's blood test results come back in today saying he has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He's 75 years old, theres no cure, they say he can live another 5-10 years with this, but chances are that he will die from something else like a heart attack or something...
On top of all this- my MOH & best friend ever- Her mom was diagnosed this year with stage 4 lung cancer. Her mother is only 47. She seems to be doing well, but theres alot of ups and downs with the chemo and what not. And another friend's mom just had her breast removed and is going through chemo.
It's TOO MUCH for me to handle and all I can ask are for your prayers. You girls are all very caring- whether its about a florist or a family member... And I thank you all for being there for me in the past with wedding plans. Now I ask for some prayers or good vibes for everything to just turn out well & give me the da mn strength to make it through all this.![]()
