I want to book my hall real soon and I can't decide. There are so many pros and cons with both places. Did anyone else have this problem? I feel I went to enough halls to narrow it done to two. Does anyone have any suggestions of halls in Suffolk county or at least near the Suffolk Nassau border, that is around eighty dollars a person, 100 with the tax. I need more choices, HELP!!!!!!!!!

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
I definitely vote for the Watermill!!! The food there is way better than at EW IMO. The place is very classy. I think it has a little bit of everything that one looks for in a catering facility.

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
Well, I would start by doing a side by side comparison.
How many events do they hold at one time? What is included in their pricing? How many people will be attending to you on your day?
keep going like this until you have all the items, them compare.

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
I agree with fashionhag -- do a side-by-side comparison and also take into account the following:
--distance from the ceremony site (if you won't be having the ceremony there)
--extent of grounds for taking pics (will save you money on limo time and park fees)
-- distance from your getting ready location, guests, or picture taking location
Good luck!!

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
I agree... make a list of all the things each hall offers and see which one is more appealing to you. I haven't beet to the Watermill but I have been to east wind. I loved east wind and I though the food was amazing!!

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
Everyone is different, so we are all gonna have our personal favorites....
What it is about each one that you like and then dislike? Maybe we can start there by knowing what you like about each place?
How many people are you having at the wedding?

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
I am a little biased also. I really think east wind is beautiful, but it is much farther from watermill. You had said you wanted something more on the nassau/suffolk border. If that is a huge concern then i would go with watermill. Did you look at the meadow club, fox hollow or woodbury country club?

Re: I cant decide!!!!!!
I love the watermill- it was actually our first choice, but then we switched :) They include a lot with the price- like frozen drinks, ice sculpture (they will throw it in), basic cake, etc. I also went to a showcase there and the food was incredible.. maybe see if either has a showcase coming up, maybe that will help you! whenever I can't decide, I always let service be the deciding factor- like, when you met with them, did they make you feel like they are going to take care of you? That would be the deal breaker for me. Watermill has this really nice planner lady who really makes you feel at ease.
I have never been to east wind though, so I guess i am biased as well! I have never heard anything bad about them either. :)

The pro and con list helped me decide. I went to no less than 15 places!
