I keep going back and forth between my colors for flowers and bridesmaid dresses. We are doing a Saturday night black tie so it has to be formal BUT it is in June. I was thinking of just telling my girsl to pick their own floor length black dress and call it a day, but I want everyone to know who is in the bridal party...and wouldnt mind some color since all the other guest will be in black. How did you guys narrow it down??
what about a deep purple color? it is so elegant and would go nicely with black tie.
i found a color that goes on each of my girls (cause they each have different complexion) i'm putting them blue, it also happens to be one of my favorite colors

Yeah i was thinking of purples or maybe sage and yellows...the problem is that all this stuff is so pretty. It is hard to say I want this and go for it because what if you see something better?? I gotta just keep looking and trust my gut i guess...

i still didnt finalize my exact color. but i know it will be some form of purple or a periwinnkle this way i can work in purples with the flowers. purple has always been my favorite color too. and while so many other colors are so beautiful to me, i feel that i need to honor my favorite color, lol. i also knew i didnt want a lilac b/c i feel like it is 'too pastel' for me. i am not a huge of wearing pastel colors.
when i think black tie i think of floor length gowns that are dark hues such as black, dark purple, dark blue, burgundy, etc. but since its summer how about gold or a burnt yellow or burnt orange
