VIDEO - I would definetly do it. My sister's baptism is on video - from like 20 years ago - and it is awesome how we can see the whole family younger and just laugh and have that memory to show our children! Def. do it!!!

DEFINATELY GET THE VIDEO

This is coming from someone who originally did not have a videographer. My wedding is in 7 weeks and as it gets closer and closer and as I realize it it going to go soooooooo fast - I will be so glad I got it on tape and can relive it over and over and over again....

If you can afford it, definately get it

Without a doubt get a video.

Wild Rose Video is incredible. They have different packages that may fit your budget, they are truly amazing!

I also say go with the video especially that there will be things you may not see on your day that the video will capture for you

VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO!!!

I was anti-video, wondering when am I ever going to watch it. But I'm so glad I went for it. Its a wonderful way to re-live your day. And you do see things you missed!

After its all over, its great to relax and live through it again. To hear the two of you say your vows to each other (I can't watch that part without getting a little teary-eyed) - to watch reactions of friends and family, to see how you looked during your first dance. Its like being a guest at YOUR wedding.

I'll give you the same advice someone gave me...

this video will be a live picture of your closest family members walking, talking, dancing and laughing..

I just got mine...and as excited as I was to see everything (which is great!) the best part was seeing my aunt and late uncle (passed away 2 months ago) holding each other so tightly while they were dancing...

my kids will see what a ham my father is and what a good dancer Gloria is, how silly my cousin Carrin is, and I will be able to torment my FG for YEARS!!(especially when the boys start coming over )

We are so happy with our video. It captures all the special moments, the family and friends dancing, etc.
When you watch it,you feel like you are experiencing the whole day all over again.I definately think it is worth it!

I say GET it. I fought with hubby over it, he thought it was a waste of $$$$.
Im glad we did, and finally agreed after we sat down and watched it.
There is so much that we missed, and glad out videograpger got it on tape.
If you can fit it in your budget, get it

I felt the same way as you, but then decided to get the video. My mom was saying how we will miss so much, and the video will hopefully capture the little things we miss. I think it is worth the money.

VIDEO!!

Its memories of your special day you can watch OVER and OVER. Especially when you and FH are fighting and you can watch it and realize how much you love each other and then make up.

Definitely get the Video!! I almost didn't get one b/c it didn't fit my budget...Anyhow, I am so glad I am getting one now. Bellarino Productions in Bellmore is GREAT! They do a fantastic job and are VERY affordable. Good Luck!

Go for it!
I am so glad we decided to get a video. You dont get a chance to see everything on you wedding day. Besides being a nice rememberance of your day the video gives you a look at some of the things you may have missed. Like my cousin Bill dancing (he Never dances) and my 4 flower girls taking their petal and bubble distribution tasks so seriously at the end of the ceremony - they were precious.

Fran is so right...

No one remembered what my FG did going down the aisle...and the video caught it all...

also DH dropped my ring...and he kept saying that I dropped his ring...NOPE...video tells all

I posted this question a while ago, but I couldn't find it for you. Everyone's replies convinced me I needed to get a video. It just took a while to convince FH

DO IT! Yabbo makes good point about having your loved ones on tape....

All I have of my father is a Thanksgiving tape made in 1990. He died in 1999 and I totally I treasure it. I watch it and can't believe that he is gone. It's all I have of him like, moving and talking and smiling.

Think how much your children will treasure that tape as the years pass and we lose various loved ones (I don't mean to be maudlin, but I think it's really, really important.)

i would say if you can afford the video go for it - uit lasts a long time and you will treasure the memories. also, not everyone who attends your wedding will live forever and you can have a little something that captures everyone you love beign together...

if you can, try to get a dvd - if oyu have a dvd player that is! - since they last even longer and may be better for the future!
