I can't have my fgs!

I wanted to have fh's little twin cousins as my flower girls. They are the children of his first cousin. But the problem is his other first cousin has a 5 year old and a 10 year old and he has a first cousin who is 11.

So now the issue is his family feels like if the twins can come to the wedding the other girls should be able to.

This is going to open up a whole can of worms because I have a million cousin children on my fathers side. One cousin alone has 8 children. I wanted a no child rule except the flower girls.

So I guess no flower girls for me.

Can you have them at the ceremony, then someone can come pick up the girls so they won't be there for the reception?

I'm not having fgs or rbs either...similar situation. Can't have just some kids....

my fg is coming to the ch only! hire a babysitter for after - that's what i'm doing

well, we are doing the same thing .. one FG ... thats it and no other children, I really dont care who likes it and who doesnt ...

is there anyway to have them at church or wherever u r getting married then have them picked up?

I am breaking the 'No Kids' rule for the bridal party. The only kids that will be there will be my niece (flower girl), FH's nephews (ring bearers), and my Matron of Honor's newborn, whom she obviously cannot leave home. (She is traveling from MI). People should understand that the bridal party is an exception.

I think it's okay to limiting kids that are in the BP as invited to the wedding and that's it. That's what I did. If people don't like it, they can stay home.
