i cant have the vienease hour so how bout candy buffet

If i cant have hte vinease hour becuase 1. its 15.00 more a person.. and they wont add on the extra because im having a day wedding. should i design a candy buffet and have that set up in the room. i mean after all the candy wouldnt go bad if there is extras. lol. any suggestions. getting married jericho terrace in dome room.

I dont think you'll need it. After all the drinking eating and dancing I rarely can even finish my cake. Id say dont worry about it.

Can you pring in Pastries??? Or is this something they provide???

FH and I are bringing in Pastries, figure it is 12 a pound, and their are like 12 in a pound, so times that by how many tables you are having and it will wind up being cheaper.

I am also thinking about doing the Candy Buffet, I think it is a really cute idea!

We had one at our engagement party, it was a HUGE hit with all of our guests!

What about - instead of a venise? U do whats pictured in these pix and then a make your own sundae ice cream bar??....and uhh....buy the ice cream???

Just a thought!

eta- i did a venise and even tho it was alot $ pp , it was a big hit and everyone is still raving about it. sometimes its worth it IMO....................................

Well at Jericho they have a Canoli sundae ice cream bar that is included, if you look in the book they gave you, you will see its with all the additional services, its not in the extras section so that would be great to have

i had a candy buffet. i agree with nybride, it's not needed.....

BUT IT WAS A VERY BIG HIT.

just be careful, it can get expensive

I think a candy buffet is a really cute idea but agree with everyone else, after all the eating and drinking a viennese hour or anything other than the cake is unecessary (IMHO) and it probably will get expensive! Go with the cake and i wouldn't worry too much about these extras!
