okay, so here is the deal, FH & I live together in a 2BR apt on LI. We are getting married in LI, but Im not from here, so none of my family lives here. Originally I thought I would get ready at my apartment with my BMs and take pictures here. Now Im wondering if I should stay at the hotel and take pictures there in the AM? Half of the BMs are staying at the hotel and the others (my sisters) were planning on staying with me! Then to add to the confusion, im now wondering if my apartment is even nice enough to take pics at (no nice living room!) Help!

I think the hotel would be better .. more comfy.. room service you will be treated like a princess.

I agree...stay at the hotel if you can swing the $!! You'll be less stressed the night before I think, and that morning also if you're not helping people find this & that in your apartment, you know? Then you can be together with your other girls too!

My apartment has more space than my parent's house so I am getting married there. I was stressed about the same thing for a while. GO to where there is more space.

Plus you need to think about cleaning the apt. so that it looks nice it pictures, I just think it would be easier to get ready at the hotel, that is what I am doing. My parent's house is way too small to have all my girls there for pics and I don't even want to deal with cleaning up my apt. the few days before the wedding....JMO!

i agree about the cleaning...but AFTER everyone leaves. it was like a tornado ripped thru my parents house the morning of the wedding! all the girls getting ready, people popping in to say congrats, the photographer, videographer, flowers, etc. it was mayhem and a mess after all was said and done. do the hotel if you can swing it. you dont want to come home to a mess after your wedding!
