MY FMIL is causing me to want to play in traffic, I swear.
Im not even going to get into it because I can wrote a novel on her and title it.. 'Its all about ME' because she is such a BUTANA (you italian girls know what that means...) This woman thinks she knows it all, i swear.
We have a family wedding this weekend to go to. She had the NERVE to tell me not to wear jeans to the church because everyone else will show up all dressed up in their evening gowns and I will embarrass her If Im not dressed apporpriately.
HELLO!! The church is at 2:00.. the reception dont start until 6:30pm. I would never show up to church in jeans-especially since my FH is in the wedding party. Whatever gave her that idea is rediculous. I cant stand her.
She thinks shes the most beautiful thing walking the face of the earth-
Im going to EMBARASS her?? I should walk in with my pajamas and no makeup.

F her Janie....my fsil can get like that sometimes....she just wants to feel superior....again I say F her. you know you have self respect and decency. case closed.

Oh girl I know what that mean ....My Zia calls a few women that all the time that's def. messed up .....I dont get that ....cause you need to be told what to wear ....wow! I could think of a few other things to call her too
All you can do is smile and do what you want anyway ....just never leave the house w/o your salt and red ribbon!

I am Jewish and I woudl never wear jeans in a church OR a temple. I would never wear pants in a temple because thats how I was raised. To me, JEANS are too casual for a house of worship. JMO.

BELIEVE ME! I have times when I just want to toss FMIL somewhere and never say where she landed, but at the end of the day I realize that is FH's mother And then i get over it (eventually )
Not to mention why would she think you were wearing jeans to a wedding? I think she was just being an down right stupid, and spiteful.

Yikes...it takes a major nerve to say something like that to your future daughter-in-law...you should of put her in her place right away Janie...she should not have an ounce of right to talk to you this way...no one should...

OMG!! How could she say that 'You will embarass me' ? I would have politely said back with a smile on my face 'I don't know what makes you think I would wear jeans to church...' Honestly, it's tough but be the bigger person here, ignore her or kill her with kindness!

OMG what a------ trust me i know how you feel..my FMIL asked me if she has to wear a dress to our wedding, then told me she was kidding, then constantly tells me im crazy to spend that much money on a weddind and she would NEVER be that silly to do that, she just does these tihngs to get me crazy...thats probably what ur FMIL is doing, just ignore her she just wants some attention

my new motto is if something bothers me about what people say i'm just going to be polite but completely truthful.. if it were me I'd say Mrs. blah blah or whatever you call her.. do you really think that I am incapable of dressing appropriately? Whatever gave you that impression?
