I CANTTTTTTTT DEAL WITH THIS CRAP ANYMORE!!!

SOOOOOO tired of my mom every since i got engaged shes been a total *****!!! i can understand if she didnt like my FH but she always talks highly about him... now as most of u know we are doing the CLM tasting tomorrow well u rsvp and i rsvped for 6.... me FH uncle mom brother and MOH then my mom and bro say they dont want to come so i invite my MOHs husband and 1 bridesmaid all of a sudden my mom calls this morning starts telling me all her bs and problems and i listened and then whatever we started talking about other stuff and i was like well i went to see fox hollow yesterday and i start talking about i dont know which one to go with and shes like i dont care about your wedding... I FLIPPED OUTTTTTTTTTT told her dont F*&^%ing come to my wedding and im done & hung up!! well 20 mins later she calls back and apoligizes and tells me not that she dont care but its my choice and now shes comming to CLM welllll news flash u said no and now i invted 3 friends and now she flipps again telling me i value my friends opinions over hers n blah blah...!!!!!!! I WANT TO SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

sorry girls i had to vent cuz i cant take her bs anymore

I'm sorry that she doesn't want to be involved in your wedding planning process. I know how you feel because my mother is the same way. As long as you have other relatives or friends that will help you and listen to you then you will be fine. I know in the end my mom will support any decision i make, but i just can't consult with her because she won't care, or doesn't want to be involved/doesnt get excited about the planning process.

Have fun at your dinner! I was going to go to that tasting as well but cancelled when i decided to book w/ Fox Hollow.

Oh gosh. I'm sorry.

My mom is like that some times. There are times where she's happy to help me by going to halls, dress shopping & stuff... then there are times she tells me she's going to strangle me if I don't stop thie wedding talk cause she's getting sick of hearing it and if this is all she's going to hear for the next two years she wants me to keep it to FH & myself!!

I was about to say if you need a spot for the tasting I'd go!!! LMAO. Their food is excellent. I hope you have a good time!

And save room for the chocolate fountain (their going to bring it out)

hi I am sorry you are dealing with this with your mom. I am dealing with some problems with my dad as well. The reason that I haven't vent yet is because i can't find words to put it. Its just too many issues between me and my dad. Hope everything gets better good luck

Sometimes I think mom's are afraid of us getting married, mine keeps saying 'you know you could still keep looking, I mean, keep your options open'

They might have had reasons, but they did tell me they never saw me so happy.
They might have been worried that the fact that 9 months before I met FH I had a rough break up with my boyfriend of 4 years. They assumed FH was a rebound and then thought I was taking the rebound to far. Were afraid I was just doing it to get back at ExBF.

Wasn't the case. They've all pretty much shut up now. But I still get the ocassional 'You're only 24, you sure you want to get married?'

OMG same with me.... but it was shorter!!! i broke up with my ex in may met FH in aug and so was NOTTT intrested but he kept trying n finally in sept i was like ok 1 date lol 2 yrs later i love him to death

another thing is they want me to go back to school and feel once i get married im having kids yea i love kids and def want a few but im most likely going bak to school as much as i hate it lol
