It took months of nagging but I finally convinced FH to get a second photographer!!! I'm so excited. This was after weeks of explaining to him when we first got engaged that YES, photographers do cost this much money, and NO, a friend just can't take the pictures. This is also the same boy who last year at my friend's wedding (his first on LI) was flabbergasted that the cocktail hour was not in fact the dinner.
I love my small-town boy.

Ditto...In Massachusetts (where DH is from) they basically have cheese, crackers and some passed hors d'ouerves at the CH. He had to explain it in advance to his entire family because they would've pigged out at the CH thinking it was dinner.
