The Pronovias dress I've been dreaming about is way over then double my wedding budget. I didn't even think a dress could be $6200 from his collection!!
To top it off, they don't even have the dress in the Flagship store so even I came across this extra $3000 to go over my budget, I would have to order the dress and take a chance that once it comes it looks horrible on me!!

Yup, just needed to vent!!! Hate that it was so expensive but I can not financially swollow that much + alerations + veil+ acces., its too much for one day, even if that one day is my wedding.
I work to damn hard for my money!
If you girls see anything that resembles this dress from another designer please let me know!

wow that dress IS gorg! but you're right for being practical - it is your wedding but you work HARD for your $$!!! you will find one you LOVE that is in your budget

I understand how you feel! My dress budget was only $1500 and trust me after I walked out of Kleinfelds I was definitely over budget. But in the end I know it was worth it. In your situation...it definitely stinks that you can't even try the gown on.

I 100% understand. The dress I'm in love with is $8k =( Have you looked to see if its on pre owned wedding dresses .com? They have mine but all in VERY small sizes.

I don't know if this is true, but I have read on weddingbee that the pronovias gowns are much more expensive in the NYC store than in other locations. Perhaps you can find it somewhere else for less? Or check www.preownedweddingdresses.com?
I'm going to pronovias on the 12th and can't wait - I hope I dont fall in love with anything expensive!! eeeeeeek

HOLY CRAP THAT'S A LOT! I would cross that off my list too haha. No worries, i am sure you will find something that looks gorgeous on you. Just think in 10-15 years, that 6000 dress will be out of fashion anyway lol

We are doing an old hollywood glamour feel with the day, lots of pearls, lots of feathers and shades of pink. I wanted a dress like this to help bring that idea together.
