I could Cry!

two things I want to tell you

first, just bc you love the dress in a magazine, doesn't mean you will love the dress on you.

I fell in love with a wedding gown I saw online and went crazzzzzyy trying to find it...when I finally found it...... womp womp, I hated it! lol

so don't get sad! you might not even like it, even if you can afford it!

second, I fell in love with a 5k gown!!! over budget. I was head over heels, didnt care about the price, put down a deposit on it...ultimately I decided against the dress bc when I came to my senses, I knew I couldn't spend that much, even if I could come up with it...so now I have a $300 credit at a bridal store, that I need to figure out how to spend!

don't end up like me lol

also, have you looked at San Patrick dresses? they are a sister company to Pronovias and their dresses are 1-2k. They have dresses similar to that style. Village Bridal carries their line. My dress is a san patrick and I got it at Village Bridal.

IMO i would never spend that much money on the dress. I'm assuming you won't either, so the best that i can tell you is to please try to get that dress out of your head and not compare other dresses to this one.
keep an open mind and you find a much more beautiful dress at a more reasonable price.

Have you been to Pronovias in NYC? If not go! I went last weekend and worked with Caitlyn. She is young and very nice and helpful She will respect your budget and really listen to what you want. I am sure she can find something that measures up to the dress you love. Also you can't judge anything by the picture alone. You need to try it on.. I was in love with a dress at Kleinfelds ($1,000 more than the dress I ended up worth)… When I put it on it did nothing for me and was very blah.

Aww ...Trust me i know how you feel... I tried on a kenneth pool dress that was over 5K and LOVED it.. then I got an email saying to quickly purchase it because its going up in price & plus alterations it would be almost 6K!!

Dont worry you will find the dress of your dreams ...try googling 'dresses that look similar to pronovias ..' and then the style number!!
