Since I just learned about myspace.com. Do you think it would be a good idea to use the site to post my wedding pics? Or should I create one on my own?

only if you uploaded them under your 'View More PIcs' section
otherwise--to just post them to the page you have to use HTML language to link them from ANOTHER site that you are using to host them. (like shutterfly, photobucket, etc.)
it can get tricky!

Yea I wouldnt either.... Shutterfly is pretty good if you need a site to post pics... plus when you sign up they give you 15 free prints (its not much but its something!!)
