I decided I'm getting PRK surgery... not LASIK

TLC told me I was a candidadte for LASIK. Diamondvision and Stahl Eye Center told me I really wasn't. The latter two suggested PRK for me, which is safer - and BLADELESS, but equally effective. The difference is - slightly longer healing process. So, I'm doing it! And it's less $$ than LASIK. I'm doing it through Stahl - especially because they got me 24 months interest free!

Wahoo! So, I think I want to go in mid-July to get it done. Hopefully by mid-summer, I'll be seeing 20/20! No more contacts! No more glasses!

I had LASIK a year and a half ago and I am thankful every single day for it!!! It's one of the best decisions I've ever made - TRULY!!!
Just this morning when i was walking my dog by the bay I was noticing how crisp everything looks - the green lawns, foggy morning and my red dog pouncing along. You won't regret it.

You should be seeing 20/20 within a few days!

Sorry - misread your post.....hopefully by mid-summer you'll be 20/20....my mom did PRK about 3 years ago and she was great within a month!
