I grabbed my small bottle of eye makeup remover and when I went to use it my eye was burning out of its socket. I came to realize that it was not my make up remover but the small sample of SPF 8 that I took from my vacation in Mexico. Anyone else ever pull a bonehead move like that?

almost - and it would've been MUCH worse than yours!!!
I used to keep my eye makeup remover and my nail polish remover in the same cabinet-
One night, i was tired and DRUNK, and almost used the nail polish remover on my eye. I had already put it on the cotton pad, but luckily, I realized it didn't smell right when I brought it up to my face.

Once on a flight to Puerto Rico my contacts were getting very dry so my friend said she had eye drops, I put 1 drop in my eye and thought my eye was frying in my head....stupid me not looking at the bottle didnt realize that my stupid friend gave me prescription EAR drop, my eye swelled up like I went 12 rounds with Tyson.

Not with eye makeup remover, but my mom did a good one a number of years ago. We were on vacation somewhere, and she was brushing her teeth, and had the most awful look on her face. She's like, 'This toothlpaste taste horrible, and my mouth feels funny.' My dad looks at the tube and he's like, 'That's because that wasn't toothpaste. It was Cortaid lotion.' We got a good laugh out of that one!!

I've used hair spray instead of deodorant before. Not as horrible as putting something in your eye, but still worth another shower!
