I love my dress.. but it's the wrong color.

I wanted ivory so bad!

Instead it came in white.
The tags and the paperwork all say ivory but it's just NOT

I honestly have to say im kinda down about this.

I called Macy's they're gonna see what they can do. *sigh*

I just want THIS dress

Soome times 'ivory' looks white... is it really wrong, or just a 'white ivory?'

With all the friggin color whites who knows what is what?!?!

What was Macy's response? If the paperwork says ivory, shouldn't you have some recourse? Are they going to do something for you?

I hope they can fix it...maybe you can try to find the dress on www.bridecouture.com????

The fact of the matter is that they ordered the wrong dress....they need to try to fix this problem.

I was worried after I ordered my dress that it was too dark, when I went for my first fitting and put it next to white shoes (not dyed yet) and under different lighting it was barely ivory which is what I wanted. Are you sure its not 'their ivory'? Do they have swatches for you to compare?

That's what they are NOW saying..

It's Demetrios Ivory.

The point I have is EVERYONE told me that ivory was darker than the white one I tried on (sample) which was after all the selling point.

I dunno.

I love my dress but im disappointed. Sorta takes the fun out of it

i would definately fight it... my grandmother bought her gown at the macy's in smithtown, the people are horrible. The service was so poor the two time that I went that the last time I complained to the store manager. Its ur day you should have what u want especially if it was ordered correctly.

Macy’s say they’re going to pull my gown and look at it. I wish I had the link off hand to my pictures when I tried it on.

I’m telling you, it’s WHITE.

*Sigh*

She’s supposed to get back to me tonight after 5pm. We’ll see.

I must admit, from the pic it does look white not ivory. What did Macys say? What are the options you have?

They say my dress is ivory and have the same dress with straps to show me in white so I can see the difference.
