RIGHT?? It's so much less painful that I was making it out to be in my imagination. On a pain level from 1-10, it was like a 2. Maybe a 4 closer to the top middle, but it's really a breeze.

I was going to go to Sonia's Waxing (there's one in Roslyn, if anybody's curious) but after asking my sister-in-law who has been waxing for yearrrsss for a recommendation, she told me to go to her place in the city. I know the city isn't convenient for a lot of you, but I work in the city so I went there and it's a LOT cheaper than Sonia's. $38 for a brazilian and the place is REALLY nice, friendly and totally legit. Just wanted to throw that out there for girls who wanted to get a few things done. It can get pricey and i was really looking to not break the bank with my hair removal.

I just made an appointment at the Sonia's in Roslyn for Friday. Since it's going to be my first time I've opted for just the bikini line, and will work my way up to the full brazilian. FH wants me to do it so bad he told me he would pay!

You have to do what makes you comfrotable... but i never even had a bikini... and i swear.... it was great. Its sooo quick... it was done in one shot... and then when they go over what they did you dont feel it

They didn't use the hard wax, but it really wasn't painful. Maybe I have a high threshold for pain? I got a French Bikini, which is a TAD less invasive than a brazilian, but the areas that were left weren't near the more painful areas to wax. I'm getting the brazilian next time. I just really love that it's a whole $20 cheaper than other places. I want to get my legs and underarms done, so this will add up to a lot of savings.

If you go get it done.... let it grow out... i know its gross... but last time i went it was too short and they would do it. I swear V-- its not bad AT ALL

My sis said our mom made her do this before the wedding - I told her FH wouldn't recognize my vjay jay b/c I NEVER shave or wax - like 70's porno down there!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm scared to do it b/c I break out so easy - is it uncomfortable when it starts growing in? Stubble doesn't sound appealing in certain places!!!!!!!!

Sonias Waxing Plus in E Northport...... i cant begin to tell you how amazing the entire experience was!!!! Quick, painless, and so relaxing!!!! i loved it and cant wait to go back!
