I did so much!!

I did a lot this weekend.
I blocked some rooms at the Marriot.
Bought by undergarments at Georgette’s. They are great there. She said I’ve been wearing the wrong bra size. I feel so much more comfortable now. My long line bra is great.
I bought my shoes at Love My Shoes. I bought one pair of platforms with a big heel, and a pair of huge platform thongs. I don’t have pictures, but trust me they are both so hideous, but I don’t care, they make me tall. Besides, I can sell them on Ebay when I’m done.
My invites are being printed as we speak (or read).
And I booked my minister, Dr. Janine Burns.
I also went to a tanning salon this weekend. It wasn’t as scary as I thought it’d be. I only did 12 minutes on their lowest setting, so I didn’t get any color. I’m going again in 2 weeks and trying it for 15 minutes.

I still have so much to do, DJ, ceremony and cocktail hour music, etc, but I am on schedule. Yay!

Question though - why are you waiting 2 weeks to go back tanning?

I've never been tanning before, so I don't knwo what I'm supposed to do. Do you think I should go sooner? I just want a glow, I don't want to be completely bronzed. Let me know your thoughts.

I was thinking the same thing.... i worked in a tanning salon when i was in school, and have a friend who owns one. I have gone way more than i shouldve since then as well. 'they' say 'safe' tanning is every 48 hours. Since you've never been before, i would say go every 2 days and see how many sessions it takes you to get to your desired color (i.e. 4 sessions) then do it the same way right before your wedding. let me know if you need any more info!

I actually haven't gone in years but started for my wedding just for a glow as well. My advice would be to go sooner than two weeks ... I don't think you'll get any color that way. Go every three days or so and get a base then maybe just once a week to maintain.

I mean it also depends on whether you burn or get really tan ... so you would know that best.
