I did something so stupid today - NWR
So, today was payday and I went to the bank as I do every pay day to deposit my check. For the first time in years, I left the bank without (yes without) counting my money. I get home and am figuring out my bills and realize I am short $300.
I'm freaking out at this point wondering if I somehow lost it or if the bank messed up. I call the bank and thank God the teller tells me he did indeed short me $300 and went ahead and deposited it into my savings account.
Lesson learned: Never, ever, under any circumstances leave the bank without counting your money first. I can't even believe that I was foolish enough to do something like this!
