I didn't realize

that my time is so unimportant to others. I research with birds, and our lab pays $1000 a month to have people come in and take care of the birds. Well, 2 birds got out and I just spent 1.5 HOURS catching these birds because they didn't want to take the effort to do it themselves. 1.5 hours of my day wasted when it's not even my job.

hey..I am sure this isn't what you want to hear, but the image you put in my head of trying to catch birds flying around your office..well..i can not stop laughing! so think of the time you wasted as time making me feel better..(alittle under the weather and very stressed about the wedding!)

No, picture it more like me sneaking around corners with a net in my hand, jumping out trying to catch them. I felt like I should be in army fatigues in the woods

I can completely relate!!! This just shows that women can do anything and everything and show our supervisor's that we are valuable! Have a few hugs!

Me too. I do three other individulas jobs including my own, but still only get padi for one

Beth I'm sorry that you work with inconsiderate, incompetant a**holes. But please know, we understand that the 1.5 hours spent chasing the birds, was valuable time you didn't spend on more important things like . . . . wedding planning!!

They finally hired someone else to help me out - because why pay 2 salaries when Liza will do 2 people work for one???

Thanks, girls! Seriously though, $1000 a month and these people do basically nothing! It was soooo frustrating trying to catch these birds because the aviary is so tall that even on a step ladder I can't see the top!
