Wow, after reading some posts here I didn't realize how much there was to planning a wedding. Being a procrastinator is not ideal right now :) Ladies who are already on the ball, where do you start? We are starting to look at RH but already it looks like we are behind. Our date is October 2013.

Book a RH now!!! Thats the first thing to book! I called the ones I wanted to see on Thrusday and I went to look on Friday night and Saturday and booked one on Sunday. We did the Jericho Turnpike Route to start..Crest Hollow, Woodbury CC, North Ritz Club, Jericho Terrace, Floral Terrace and the next day we saw Russo's and Venetian Yacht Club and we went back to Floral Terrace to put down the deposit.
And book the church of course if you are having a church service. I am telling you ...my wedding is September 1, 2013 and the photographer we wanted is booked and AJ the videographer is too. So if you want certain vendors, especially good ones that are not so expansive book early! Ask LOTS of questions and we will help!

Yea book the RH first and i would try the church if u are getting married in one b/c u have to make sure both have the same dates and its filling up so thats what i would do first and then the other stuff don't worry though

This exactly. If you're doing a church you want to get the RH and church done so you don't have any worries with that. If you have any specific vendors you definitely want than I would do that asap so they don't book up.

Don't worry, I am a procrastinator too but these boards keep me going since you basically watch everything book up! haha! Just like everyone said, start with the RH then whatever else is most important to you

Yes start with your RH and Go from there, but to be honest try to enjoy the ride and don't get to ****** in on planning everything right away. Create your own pace,
