I feel like i just don't care about anything wedding-related anymore. I was at FH's family get-together yesterday and they were asking about the wedding and i just gave them one-word answers because i just don't feel like talking about it anymore.
I found out my dress should be in this week (FINALLY!) but i just am so un-excited about it.
i couldn't care less about this wedding at this point.
am i the only one who feels this way, or is this a phase everyone goes through?

aww im sorry you feel that way, ive def been there, its just stressful and overwhelming, im sure itll pass, try not to get hung up on the whole planning process and focus on whats really going on.... youre going to be his wife!!!!!!!!

I felt that way about a month or so before the wedding-I think it's normal. I just wanted everything to be over. I was kind of sick of all the planning and waiting.

It is definitely a phase that everyone goes through. The entire month before the wedding I just couldn't be bothered. But once all the money was paid, all the stuff was dropped off at the RH, and all I had to do was relax and get ready, I got REAL excited! You will, too!!

Im sorry you are going through that! I absolutely get like that too sometimes. I try to really keep a good balance between everything so I dont feel like Im overwhelmed with wedding stuff all the time. Like when FH gets home I try to talk to him about anything but the wedding since the majority of the day Im thinking about it some way or the other.

Same here! If I can't use an acronym with you, don't ask me about the wedding!
I hate talking about the wedding because i get so stressed out when I do. People try to give me advice or don't understand something and then I have to go so far in depth that I want to murder someone when i'm done talking. It's like come on, what did we talk about BEFORE I got engaged???? Can we go back to that?! Please?

I think this a point everyone goes through, especially right before the wedding. I was very unexcited, and sick to my stomach about it. Things started getting more exciting after my final fitting and now with less than 2 weeks to go its finally settling in
I think once you go see your dress and get to try it on again, you will feel better!!

Like everyone else has said, I think we all go through this. I went through it for a while a few months ago. It's just that we plan these things for soooo long that it's easy to get sick of it. Don't worry, it will pass

Its normal! I went thru like 2 months where I did nothing wedding-related. And still when certain ppl ask me questions about it, I wanna throw up on them.

Don't worry its a phase!!! Once you're a little closer, you will totally get right back into it. I agree with the girl above who only likes to talk about the wedding with LIW brides. Besides my MOH, I really don't like talking about it with other people either. No worries, you'll be ok!

Been there done that....
Sounds like you need a 'break' from wedding planning. I know you are probably thinking how the hell can I take a break with 2 months to go but you can. Take a week and just try and do things you loved doing before you were planning a wedding. Try and relax, get a mani/pedi and just chill.
You will feel much better coming back to planning and the hype of it all once you are in a good frame of mind.

I actually almost literally ran away from a co-worker on Friday because I couldn't take it anymore. He made a bee line for me on my way to lunch and I just said, 'really hungry. gotta go.' and ran away...bad!!!

i think thats normal... sometimes you go through phases, im sure it will pass.
sometimes when i am talking about the same stuff over and over, i feel like im repeating my self (because i am) but its conversations with different people, so i tend to give one word answers after talking too much about it. or if the same person asks the same question (as if they never asked before) i tend to give one word answers. (umm you asked me that question already, so why are you asking again hahah)
like we just moved in last month, so people are still asking hows the apartment questions, and im jus tlike 'its good', 'yea we love it' but if you asked me in the begining, id give you a whole story haha.
