Okay so your photographer takes like hundreds of pictures on your wedding day. but your main album likely holds no more than 100 pictures. so what do you do with all the other ones? buy 'side' albums to store them? stick 'em in a box?
when people want to see your wedding pics, do you only show them that main album .. or all of the pictures?
i'm so confused!!

Most people don't have the patience to see all your proofs, and will want to just see the final album.
I bought cheap photo albums to store all my proofs though, because I love to look at them. :o)

Hi Sonia,
Your main album is for the purpose of displaying your best shots.
I'm with Valenia...imagine someone trying to look through 800 proofs! Some of which will have some pretty crazy looking shots. (people blinking, etc)
good luck! Hope this helps!

You only show people your favorite shots that get placed in an album. We have over 500 proofs and feel bad showing them to people. Plus, there are tons of multiple shots, ie there are 8 of me, DH and my grandmother in the same pose! No one needs to see all of them.

my proofs came in an album. I did put some of my proofs in frames, or collage pic frames.

Honestly, without enough proofs you will not have good shots for your album. Proofs are to help you remember your day, but the album is your 'hightlights' of the day. So, even though having tons of proofs may see wasteful or not needed without them you will have little selection for your final album.

I am using Mark Kauffman, and ALL of his proofs are 5x6/5x5...these are quite large for proofs (and your get between 1200-1500 of them). Because these proofs are large, many people frame these proofs and put them all over the house. I'd even frame some and give them to my parents besides their album.

some places give you the proofs to keep in an album. if you wanted to show people your proofs, it be easiest if they were in an album. ask you photographer if they include an album for your proofs or if they just come in the box. most places now a days seem to give them to you in an album.
