I dont have any friends!!!!!!!

Ok so.........Three 'friends' cant come to my wedding. Ok that's fine. Well the one I come to find out I think isn't coming so she doesn't have to invite us to hers. What! I thought we were friends. So my other friend (one of my BM) tells me that ___ has to keep her guest list to a min. Ok don't we all. She then go to say that 'you know ____ and how she is I don't think she is going to invite you guys.' OMG I am really upset. I thought we were friends. I mean I know we don't see each other a lot but I now live upstate NY. I cant help that. Every time I am on the Island and we 'all' hang out I see her. What! I feel like the people I thought were my 'FRIENDS' are not. So then who are my real friends? Anyway I just needed to vent I feel you girls are my only friends!

I'm so sorry that you're hurting. It's always the worst when people you care about hurt you and let you down. Try not to take it personally. Focus on all the friends and loved ones the will be with you on your day and surrounding you and FH with love and best wishes.

Hang in there girl...

I felt the same way planning my wedding...I came to realize people who I thought were my friends weren't. Like when the only girls at my bachelorette party were my BM's, and when people started making stupid excuses. One former 'friend' had the gall to give this excuse: she couldn't make my wedding because her fiance had a work function...the wedding was on a freakin' Sunday, Labor Day weekend. What company has a work function Labor Day weekend? I think she just didn't want to invite me to her wedding so she made a lame excuse not to go to mine.

Then of course, there's the 'friend' who RSVP'd that he was coming to my wedding, and then didn't show up! Unbelievable, he never emailed or called with a reason.

Then another friend, after RSVP-ing no to my wedding, deleted me from his myspace friends list.

People suck, what can I say.

im so sorry...unfortunatly this is the time you really find out who your real friends are! Ill be your friend and you dont have to invite me! lol

I am so sorry! I have learned over time that true good friends are almost impossible to find. I have one friend who is like my sister. She moved to wisconsin and I am here in Jersey but we still talk almost every single day and make the effort to see each other 2-3 times a year. Hang in there and hopefully one day you will meet a true friend who treats you the same as you treat them

awww i'm sorry!!!! it really hurts when you feel like you can't tell who your real friends are anymore. i agree with PP who says that the TRUE friends are sometimes hard to come by. sometimes i feel like the only real 'friends' i have are my family.

I learned my lesson about female friends a long time ago, and when I got engaged I learned my lesson about my male friends.

People suck, keep the 1 or 2 that don't near and dear to you.

That is so horrible. I'm really sorry. You do have friends that care about you and I'm sure you will find some new ones soon who will even better to you than these girls.

im sorry I know how you feel! I live upstate now too and i know how hard it is to see people but you still think they are your friends!!! I hope it all works out....it always does!!

Girls can be rough! It's like in High School when you thought they were your friends and then you would hear them talk about you when you turned the corner. Unfortunatly that doesn't change as you get older. I am 27 and blessed to have 9 best friends but I know that my family will always be there first and friends second. Keep a few friends close and make sure you always tell them how you feel. I would confront the girl that you thought was your friend and tell her how you feel. Let her explain herself and reasons to you. That way she can feel as small as you did when she did that to you.

Feel better and know you are a better person just for caring enough to get upset. Shes probably not worth it.

Me too. DH had a million friends invited to the wedding that all came & I had like no one.I had BMs & that's it. I didn't have a bachelorette party either

It'll be fine. I still had a great wedding.

I'm sorry darlin. I learned a long time ago that girls are usually a-holes. Especially when it comes to things like weddings. After I got engaged, my 'best friend' ditched me. Not only that, she came to my house and egged mine and my fiancees car. Nice huh?
Lesson learned is, times like these, you really learn who your friends are. Shake it off. You're going to have a great time. With or without them.
