we are not telling my fhs family we are getting married 3/1. my family knows. we just want it to be us. (i dont even think were takig the dogs!, so its serious!) anyway so i cant get STD cards or invitations, OR thank yous.... SOOOOOO I wanted to get like 'announcement' cards, like when a babys born. with our picture and a paragraph, you know? Has anyone ever heard of something like this? I need any advice or info on this if possible. thanks,.

I think you can go to any invitation place and they will be able to hel,p you. My best friend did announcements for her enagagement and went to Noteworthy in Woodbury. Hope this helps!

no no its fine... they know we are engaged and everything... the thing is i had MENTIONED it a long time ago to his sister (way before we started plannig it) and she went crazy. she told her whole family and they say that we should have a wedding they can go to. i dont want to have a wedding just for his family. i want to have a big traditional cerfemony a few years down the road, when my family has accepted the fact that i am going to be with kevin. and when my father will feel he can walk me down the aisle. point is, theyre making it all about them, ya know! we WANT to do it this way, but they just dont understand.

well were DEF including a pic... we are getting professional photos that day, so i figured that we'd use one of those. i'd like to get one in front of the Las Vegas sign, but i dont know.... funny you mention that, we were just discussing engagement pix... its a little late for us now though :( but we dont really have any pix of us, so maybe i just should anyway... oh i dont know!

FH and I were in Vegas in July and walked down to the Vegas sign (long walk). A bride and groom were taking a picture there... SO Cute!!!! I think it is a great idea, go for it!!!!

hey girl, how are you? just got home from vendors, AGAIN!! i read your thread and looked up elopement announcements and here is what i came up with
someone i know sent us something that said 'we've eloped!' and it had a picture of them...it was so cute but i have no idea where she got them or where to find them!
