So my wedding is in less than 10 months and I have been dragging my ass regarding florists. 10 months to go, and I have no flowers!!!
I am also having a horrible time finding a rabbi to marry us. FH's mother had to resort to going through the phone book because all the other rabbis she knows are all booked for my day!
Can someone please tell me exactly what it is I am waiting for?

Don't worry. I just pick my florist in December and am still looking for a officiant. You'll be fine.

Hey I'm the day before you and I have no florist yet either! I've been dragging my ass too!! But I'm not worried, there's still lots of time... I think I've learned that I kind of need to feel a little pressure otherwise I get all wishy-washy and can't make a decision! Maybe that's what you're waiting for -- for the wedding to seem a little bit closer you feel a bit of pressure to get things done.

I HAVE 8 MONTHS AND HAVENT EVEN LOOKED FOR A FLORIT, I AM EVEN MORE LAZY!!!!!!!!! ITS TO COLD TO GO OUT

I just went to the florist yesterday!!!! 5 WEEKS before the wedding. Yes, folks that's WEEKS not MONTHS!!!! granted we're not doing much--no BP, only and MOH and no centerpieces. Please, if anyone thinks a wedding cannot be planned on short notice, please direct them to me!!!

I don't have a florist yet either and to be honest I don't have the desire to go book one. For me right now, I think it's adding onto the list of vendors we have to shell out more $$ too.
Right now I am working on the HM and that makes me happy, because it is all about us!!!

I saw a Rabbi on Craigslist tonight It said Rabbi - have Chuppah will travel which I thought was cute...

I just booked our rabbi, if you are interested fm me I will give you his name and number, he was really nice and maybe he will be available.
just to let you guys know...my florist, who is a fmaily friend, said we didn't have to decide anything until 2 weeks and a day before the wedding...the time he needs to order the flowers...
and florists can easily do more than one wedding in a day

You're waiting for me to book my florist I'm getting married the day before you. I think I'm going to use the Milleridge florist, out of laziness, but I haven't looked into it at all.
One day at was at my local florist and the manager was on the phone, asking, ' what time? , where's the church' ok, no problem. I think they got a last minute wedding call and they could do it, so anything's possible.

Okay I am 5 months away and I have No Florist No Limos No BM dresses No Favors...should I go on!!!
I have been procrastinating soooo bad its unbelievable! I keep telling myself this weekend I am going to do something! That time must come soon!!

I think I have decided since I booked everything sooo early and then had second thoughts or doubts about it for months after - lol really not fun.. that things like the florists who can do more then one wedding in a day.. and I have a general idea of what I want.. that can wait till later. one less thing to doubt and stress out about!!

Don't worry about not having flowers booked yet. The florist I am using said I could come in the month beofre - which I will be going in earlier just because I am impatient and want everything done with ahead of time. So she told met to come in after Valentines Day then if that would make me feel better.
