hey ladies. i'm having a little bit of a problem. i used to work at michaels but i left there at the end of december and got a new job. now there were 2 managers i wanted to invite and i asked them if they would wanna come and they said yes, but now i haven't seen them since before i left michaels...i think that was the beginning of december, i never worked with either of them, and i still havent seen them because i never go in that store unless i need to buy something, which is never. (i really hope this is making sense). now i'm wondering, should i still invite them because i'm really just not wanting to, but i do at the same time, you know? i dont know what to do! it would be different if i still worked there, but now that i don't...i dont know what to do.

Well its up to you .. you dont have to youdont see them and you havent in almost 2 months ... BUt then on the other hand if you want them there then yes invite them its up to you ..

I don't think you have to invite them. It would be different if you were still working there, but now that you are not, its not necessary

yeah thats what i'm thinking, i mean there are people there that i'm inviting, but thats only because one of them is in my wedding party and when i do go in there i usually see them...and they're on my myspace and i always say hi to them on there haha...and because i do want them there thats the only reason i'm still inviting those people. i dont know...i hate this inviting stuff! we should've eloped!! haha

You don't have to invite them. I own my ownbusiness and sent everyone a save the date. One of the teachers couldn't work for me anymore...and I'm not inviting her. I haven't seen her since last June! I'm sure they will understand!

ok...i mean by then...they probably wont even remember...and if i dont go in there that much, maybe they really wont remember at all..and if i do go in to get stuff for the wedding, just go in when i know they're not working hahaha

yeah i know what u mean about the whole inviting thing. it is tough, esp. when it comes to the people u work with. but, i agree, if you dont feel that close with them and u dont see them anyway, then i just wouldnt bother. whats the worse that could happen anyway. maybe ask the ppl from michaels that you ARE inviting what they think about it too.

I was thinking the same thing.. I mean if you shopped there regularly and ran into them there it may be akward if you didnt, but since you dont.. i see no need to.

I think it would be fine for you not to invite them. I had a similar situation with one of my 'friends' from college. I had been really close to her, but over the last year we have lost touch and so she will probably not be invited to the wedding.
