I have been going to my hair dresser ever since the 8th grade. She is awesome and I completely trust her with my hair for the wedding. Everytime I see her she is always talking about styles she can do for me for the wedding and it all sounds exactly what I want. The issue is she doesnt travel since she is the owner of her salon and my make up artist is coming to my house. So we would have to shuttle girls in two shifts between my house and the hair salon(while girls are getting their hair done the others are getting makeup and then they switch) My hair dresser is all the way out in Bayville and I'm trying to keep my wedding day as stress-free as possible. Plus I'm nervous about traffic on a friday afternoon and running behind with everything. My makeup artist gave me some people that she knows that does great hair and that will come to my house but I feel so bad not using my hair dresser..........................What should I do?

If your hair dresser is recommending someone then I would trust them. Schedule a hair trial with the one she most highly recommends and have your hairdresser describe what you two discussed.

personally i'd get someone to come to your house. it's the less stressful way to do everything.

I am in the SAME EXACT situation. I am going to speak with her first, and then go with whoever will come to the hotel. I will just say I am staying at the hotel the night before and it is 5 minutes from where the ceremony will be so it'd be silly to travel.

yep that could be a factor as well, but we don't know that. I'm sure Kristentinnelly would check into it though if she was considering it as her option!
