Hi! My Fh's cousin is getting married 6 days before us. On x-mas eve, she was telling me how she narrowed down her dress searching to only 2 choices. One of her choices was my dress!! I couldn't believe it! Considering that she equally loved them both, I assumed she would now pick the other one. I found out last nite from my FMIL, that she chose my dress! I am so upset!! :( I don't know what I should do, should I now see if i can change something on my dress? Please help! :)

What is insane is that it's nearly impossible for her to have chosen the same exact dress, she did this solely because she saw your gown, or knew which one you bought. Couldn't she at least have the decency to pick a similar shape/style but a different dress? My goodness.

Some girls are just plain ol' B8tches! I would make it known to everyone on your FH's side of the family - so, that they all know what kind of girl she is! It is totally unacceptable. I know, I would get totally crazy and not go to her wedding for pulling that crap, or give her a gift for that matter. IT may sound immature... but, that would be it for her in my book. Why would someone deliberately go out of their way like that to her someone else. That's just MEAN! But, believe me - what goes around, comes around and the only thing you can have some sort of happiness in knowing she will get what she deserves 3-fold. Good luck and let us know what happens. Summer- If you don't say something, I will..... No but Seriously that is extremely extremely RUDE. That is not very nice at all to knowlingly choose a dress that is yours to wear just a few days before yours.... That is stealing a tremendous amount of pleasure and enjoyment from your day... YOUR DAY is just as important as hers and that was not very nice.... Unless she asked you days earlier.... would you mind if I did this? and you said yes.... That is the only way I could possibly understand this behavior.... Are we missing any part of this story or is this girl deranged and psycho?

OMG! I really hope my evil cousin and I don't get in the same situation, but I think about that happening all the time. The only thing I wonder is what does she look like? If she doesn't look like you or have the same body shape, whatever- the dress could look completely different or someone else. Just a thought!

What horrible news. I cannot believe the nerve of some people. I'm not sure what I would do in this situation. My first instinct is that I would straighout ask her why she would pick the same dress as you when she has another option and you have already ordered yours.

I read this I was just thinking this is definately the stupidest thing I have ever heard on this board. I have seen the same dates and those type of things but this really tops the cake.
Hopefully she has a terrible shape and will not look the same in your dress.
I am so bad I have to stop but really this one gets the stupid sign. If only she was wearing it we would not have this problem as you would of seen the sign and kept all wedding plans top secret.
