I had a great experience at Lillette's and I know a lot of girls on here have used them with no problems.
FSIL purchased her dress at Paradise and loved her experience there.
Village Bridal is also a really great salon.
I purchased my dress from Monica's Bridal in Brooklyn and I have not had a problem yet and I was treated very nice the 2 times I have been there.
Definitely call around to places that are recommended to you and see who gives you the best price and who seems most convenient to you to travel to.

I also had a great experience with Paradise! I havent heard the greatest things about their alterations either but so far so good!!

Honestly, for every negative review I have seen from them, I've seen 5 good ones. I've seen negative posts about EVERY salon on LI. I know girls personally who got their dresses from Paradise that loved them (including my sister), so that's why I went with them.

I had a great experiance at Bridal Reflections. I went in not thinking i was going to get my dress but i worked with Mary Lou and she was great! I ordered my dress right there on the spot!

Paradise Bridals (i've been here): Great! They were SO nice and sweet to me... I think i got Barbara... but i received couple of Fm so i am not sure about it...
Prinnncess bridals(i've been here) : No Comments about it bc if i say something, I may end up cursing... but the only good thing I can get a $200 on my dress.

This sucks....
