I don't know where to start...help!

Im getting married May 25, 2008. I have my hall booked and want to start booking my other vendors. Ive been told Im rushing things, although, it seems everyone has felt the need to put their 2 cents in. So where do I start?! Am I doing things too early?? When should I start looking to buy my gown and BM gowns? Theres a trunk show in May I want to go to, is that too early? What kind of questions do I ask vendors? Help! My im is Matchbox20270. Thanks!

Hi not to early. You should book your officiants (or church) next. Start going to places for your gown and start listening to music. You can call up bands or djs and ask them to mail you a cd or you can go up to their place and watch a DVD. Then start looking for photo people. It takes a long time to see them and then decide who you want. The time goes by very very fast. Good luck

I dont think it can ever be too early!!! I've had my dress for about 5 months already and My wedding is 10 months away!!! BM Dresses you can look at like a year before or like 8 months....As far as Vendors, start booking now if you want. You dont want them to not be available on your date. As far as ?s to ask.....let me see if I can find it and bump it for you!

I agree with Woobie!!! You can never start to early. People may try to discourage you from booking, but I say pish posh to them! I am almost done booking everything! Best of luck to you!

I'm having my ceremony at the RH. I already booked my photographer and videographer. Im visiting with one more DJ before I make my decision and book that too. We still haven't decided if we want a civil or interfaith ceremony. Once we decide I will start looking for officiants. I'm starting early but taking my time and doing research. It also is nice because you can have payment plans instead of being shocked at the end.
