i totally agree. No one is friendly anymore!! I was always under the impression that you should treat customers with respect since they are the reason your business keeps going!! and its everywhere. Stores, restaurants you name it and its all the same. What happened to putting on a smile and being nice!!!!

Oh no! What happened? I don't have patience either for poor service. People nowadays just don't care! It's sad!

Re: I don't know why I bother...
I've been waiting FOUR months for one piece of my furniture...(This was after they told us it would take 8 weeks.) And we're also waiting for 2 replacement pieces on other pieces of our furniture...(This was after FOUR attempts were made to try to fix them!)
It's really annoying.
And they just don't care.

I don't know what it is with furniture places. My DH had a lot of problems with Levitz in Carle Place when he moved into his new place.

I'm so sorry to hear that .. we had a good experience with them .. except for their credit department .. but the merchandise and delivery went smoothly.
It's really a shame how poorly all furniture companies seem to be when it comes to their customers.
Everyone by now is probably tired of hearing about my horror story with Huffman Koos .. and I know a couple of people who had similar troubles with Ethan Allen.
It really seems like it's all hit-or-miss with furniture companies .. and it seems like the vast majority of people end up getting screwed over.
