ok, this is the second dress i bought. i know i've wrote about it here before, but i can't get it out of my mind. I DONT LIKE MY NEW DRESS. My fh is going to kill me, and so is fmil. i have to tell them, because it's driving me crazy. What should I say????? I paid 2000.00 for this dress, and i know on bridal gowns 101 it's going for $1000.00. should i just tell him I'll get $1000.00 dress now, so I would not lose any money? I dont know what to do, I am so unhappy. I see all of these beautiful beaded dresses and mine is so plain. ughhhhhhh

no, i didnt get any pictures of me in it, my cameras battery died. i wish i did, that way i could remember what it looked like. i've been looking on the computer for more pics, but i cant find any, and i saw some on the knot a few months ago, but the site is not working for me.

Your dress is beautiful! In fact, I'm a little jealous of yours, I love the roses. I know how it feels though because I went through the same thing. But, as soon as I tried it on again I was in love all over. Maybe try to find anothter shop that has the sample just so you can see yourself in it again.

honestly,I dont know. I loved it when i tried it on, i cried. Maybe because i havent been able to go back and try it on again because they sold the sample, is why im having second thoughts. I just see everyone elses beautiful dresses with all the bead work, and i wish i had gotten a dress like that, even though i tried some with beads on and didnt like them, i feel i maybe should of looked more. I dont know, maybe because my planning has been put on hold from dec. til the end of this month I just have nothing else wedding to think about????
Your dress is beautiful. Anytime you second guess it, then you should remember the feeling yuo had once you first tried it on. Gosh, I mean if the store sold the SAMPLE of your dress, you KNOW that your dress is HOT and someone else just had to have it.
In addition, if you feel your dress is plain (which it is definetly NOT), then you can always dress it up with accessories and such. Remember your dress is just ONE part of your wedding ensemble. You still have shows, veil, headpiece, jewlery and your hairstyle.

I think it is totally normal for you to be second guessing things as we all want every detail to be so perfect. I think your dress is GORGEOUS!!!

The dress is BEAUTIFUL!!!! You have nothing to worry about. The anxiety is normal, I am sure when you to try it on, you'll cry again, because it'll look amazing on you! Don't switch the dress! The doubt is normal, and if I hadn't paid 4K for mine, I probably would of switched it too. And yet, everytime I try it on, I remember why I loved it in the first place. Don't worry! The dress is beautiful!

Your gown is very pretty-that particular gown is pretty popular for pronovias I remember seeing a lot of people on the knot who had that one. I ordered a pronovias too and they told me it would take 10 months and it ended up coming in early so maybe yours will come in soon. I ordered mine in Aug and it came in Feb (also had the same problem as you with them selling the sample). Good luck!!

Thanks again for everyone helping me. I am having a hard time finding somewhere else on the island that has this dress. I looked at the picture more and realize that i do love my dress and that if i cried when i first put it on, then it is the one. I have to stop torturing myself I just cant wait until i can start up my planning again so i have other things to think about.

OMG! You think THAT'S plain??? YOUR dress just made me second-guess MY DRESS!!! (for the 10 MILLIONTH TIME!) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the material and it's so COUTURE-ish! DEFINITELY stick with it! You made the right choice!

I know exactly how you feel, definetly go try it on again. My sample was sold too, but when we went shopping for my moms, my dad pulled a dress off the shelf and told me it was mine, i didnt believe him, it looked hidious, i thought he was kidding, so i went home and looked at pics and saw how ugly it was i was so upset, when we went back for my moms dress, i tried :'mine' on, and i loved it. By the way, your dress is beautiful

sweetie...that dress is gorgeous and a word of advice...stay with it b/c you are going to do a lot of second guessing as the months come and having to worry AGAIN about a dress will be the last thing you need. enjoy it...it is beautiful and you will look beautiful in it!!!
aside from that...my dress was $300 and b/c it was on the cheaper side, i felt like i was second guessing it all the time. but that day, i looooved my dress and i made it more beautiful b/c i was the happiest person ever!!! remember, and this is not to make you feel bad, but to put it into perspective...it isn't about the dress...it's about the man.

I totally freaked out and thought I hated my dress for an entire week and then I went and tried it on again with my sis and cousin and I was SO SO SO relieved!!!
