According to a pregnancy calendar, if I got my period on Oct. 21...conceived on Nov. 3-4th, then as of today I am 2 6/7 weeks pregnant (if I am).
How could that be? It's only been a week since I ovulated. Confused!!!

Most calculate 40 weeks based on your last menstrual cycle not ovulation date. So your pregnancy starts when you aren't technically pregnant. Confusing but I hope what I wrote made sense.

Yes that does make sense. Thanks for clearing that up. It's kind of a strange concept to say your 2 weeks pregnant when it really only been 1, BUT who am I to argue

Yes, it's a stupid method - not sure why they do it that way. Basically, you are about 2 weeks pregnant before you even conceive! When the baby is created, it's already 2+ weeks..... weird. Usually, by the time you find out you're pregnant, you are already '4 weeks' pregnant.

Oh, great!! Good luck!!! I'm OK - AF came 4 weeks after the D&C - now just waiting for the big O Baby dust to both of us!!! Keep me posted on how things go!
