I don't usually ask for prayers...
Ladies, I am not a very religious/spiritual person and I am not sure I even believe in prayer...
but...one of my co-workers is really sick. She is 28 and was healthy until last week when she went into cardiac arrest and it was discovered that she had a weak heart! They had to put her into a coma in order to protect her brain. They started to bring her back this weekend, and while she is responsive she is still very confused and disoriented. They are not sure if she suffered brain damage or if it is because her heart is not working properly. They say that her heart is only functioning at half its capacity and she may need a heart transplant!!![]()
It is very shocking and sad. She had gone into the hospital because she had been having some problems with her allergies...turns out it was never allergies to begin with!
Anyways, she is a great person who has a wonderful future as a psychologist ahead of her. Even though I am not spiritual, I know she was, and her mother is....so I guess it can't hurt to ask for more prayers.
