I don't vent much but...

I try to be as helpful, positive, and as drama-free as I can be on the LIW boards. But it is so frustrating when people ask and ask and ask for help for themselves and you ask them one thing and they get all weird. Makes me wonder what I'm doing here sometimes!

I know and you are right - I think people (including myself) get self-absorbed sometimes. It's so easy to during this time b/c there is so much pressure - it's your day, you're the bride, etc

Secondly, I agree with you. There will always be posters who solely want information for themselves (which is okay, as this is what the website is here for), and then there will be ladies who solely give, and then there are those that do both - take and give.

The most important thing to remember, is that the ones that give & give/take will always help, and if they don't....at least refer you to someone that can.

That being said, sometimes the posts get lost among the boards, so a friendly bump might do ya some good.

Thanks ladies! It was a very specific thing with someone so unfortunately I don't know that I can ask anyone else for help but I really appreciate it. I know 99% of the girls on here are wonderful...just have to steer clear of the one or two that frustrate me! Back to planning, ladies!

can you maybe ask again?? I know sometimes people have sent me FMs, i read them, then go to respond, then something happens, i walk away and I sometiems forget about the fm, then weeks later i realized i never w/b....
