FH and I have to get visas to go to brazil and everything is booked and paid for. But the consolate is giving FH a very hard time and now they are making him pay more money for his visa and we already paid for it. And we dont even know if they are going to approve it. And if we cancel we may not get any of our money back and its all paid for. :( Im so stressed about this!!!!

Oh, Im so sorry! Did you get travel insurance for your honeymoon? You should get your money back in case of emergency!

Why do they want more money? That doesn't make any sense. Did they explain why and is that even legal?

I dont think we have travel insurance, unless our agent automatically got it for us.
And Im so confused about whats going on. FH just called and said he and I are both going to the consolate tomorrow to try to resolve this. I just hope it goes okay!!! I have been so excited for this trip for months now and really want to go!!!

I never knew that I hope everything resolves. Give travel agent a call and see if he got the insurance for you! Maybe he did

That's terrible. Let's all have positive thoughts we will send your way. The consulate WILL approve your Visas and you will go to Brazil as planned.
