The NY Times society editor just emailed me to fact-check the name of my photographer! They are not supposed to contact you unless you are going in the weddings section! I don't even know for sure yet but now I am getting super-excited. I know it wouldn't be in this weekend's paper because my wedding is on Monday, Presidents Day, but it might be the Times the weekend afterwards!
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Update - it still has to go thru editing according to the reporter, but I am going to be in the NY Times wedding section on 2/22!!!!

They list the submission info on their website. They want you to submit the info at least 6-8 weeks in advance. I just sent the photo last week.
Go to NY Times, then to Fashion and Style, then to Weddings, and off to the side they have another link for submissions and they give you all the details there.
