I don't want to do it

I have no desire to write out my shower thank you's....they have been sitting on my coffee table for three weeks just staring at me....its not that I'm not thankful for my gifts...I just have no desire to sit there and write them all out....plus I never know what to write...I feel like I just repeat the same thing. Can some one give me some good examples of what to write in my thank you's.

I wrote a personal note in each one. For example:

Dear Judy,

Thank you so much for coming to my shower & for the lovely vase.

blah blah blah

Mention how you will be looking forward to using the widget in your new home together.

And write large.

It is okay to write the same genera thing to each person, as long as they don't live in the same house

Dear Aunt Margaret,

Thank you so much for coming to my shower. I had such a great time and it was truly a suprise (or not if it wasn't). It isn't often that a girl gets to hang with all the ladies :)..

Thank you so much for the set of towels. We can't wait to use them in our new place (or same place)....

Or thanks so much for the kitchen widget- FH will be so happy when I'm using them to whip up a culinary masterpiece....

If you can't get through these, you'll never get through the wedding thank yous!

I know how you fee. I just wrote out 50 of mine last night. I wrote basically the same thing in each:

Thank you for attending my shower and making the day special. I really love the (gift) and (how I plan on using it; Ex. look forward to displaying it in my new home...can't wait to cook with it...). I'm looking forward to seeing you at the wedding.

They were personalized, yet generic..
