Our renovations are almost done! Its officially a two family house now and our appartment is90% complete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am freaking out! It's so awesome! Fh just made the archway in between the livingroom and bedroom and yesterday we bought all our bathroom items (super flush toilet, new sink, shower etc!!!!!!!!)
Keep your fingers crossed that we finish before Christmas so we can put up our tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Jenny! That is so exciting. FH and I are in the same situation- renovating a basement. Although you are far ahead of me. We didn't even start yet.

Congrats! If all else fails, put a big light up tree outdoors (that's what we did our first year in our house in the midst of a ton of renovations; i was so bummed not to have a tree up inside)!

we started last year!! But everything in the world seemed to go wrong every weekend and so fh ended up gutting it instead of renovating!

We have a charlie brown scene that we made from wood that we put out...so I guess that will do...
