Re: I feel

nothing specific...maybe just some post-holiday blues...some pms...??
can't seem to get motivated to go back to wedding planning...all through the holidays i kept saying: 'come january 1st i'm getting back into wedding planning' and it's already the 7th and i haven't!

Re: I feel

I have blah days too where I just want to lay in bed and not be bothered. Hang in there!!

Do you have a lot of things to do for the wedding? When we were at your point - we hit sort of a lull with the planning. All of our main vendors were booked and it was too early to make other decisions like invites & flowers so we tried to enjoy the down time.

It will all get done! I would look at it as being ONLY the 7th. Technically 3 working days into the new year.

Re: I feel

everyone needs a break from wedding planning (i needed many ) so don' worry about it too much. you still have a lot of time .. just set a more realistic goal on when you want to start up again, and start slow. hope you feel better soon!

You have plenty of time....When Danielle and I were at the point that you are at now, we were in a lull too. Dont worry about it....Just relax...I hope you feel a better.

Re: I feel

you have lots of time Kel....take some time off...do something fun and non-wedding related. How about a weekend trip with FH or a day trip???
Yes it shall pass....lucky you can take a break, I CAN'T...I'm so overwhelmed...EVERY DAY is wedding stuff

Re: I feel

I am with you on the January blues!!! Hang in there, it is tough for me every year, but once you get in the groove of things I am sure you will be fine!!! I have not been completely motivated (with wedding planning) but I am forcing myself and I feel TONS better already. Sometimes you just need to get the ball rolling and it really makes a difference. Good luck!!

Re: I feel

Kelly I totally can relate - been feeling that way myself lately too.

SAD disorder - 'Seasonal Affectiveness Disorder' - I believe is what it stands for. Some people get depressed during certain times of the year - like the gloomy winter.
