Okay, I know my mom doesn't mean any harm and she's just excited, but everynight she calls me and this is the conversation:
Me: Hello Her: Hey, Rai. Did you get any responses Me: Yes Her: How many? Me: XXX Her: Who are they? Me:Blah blah blah Her: Okay. Bye.
Now my problem is that unless I ask her something or try to prolong the convo, she will say one more thing usually along the lines of 'SO and So told me they mailed off the response' and then she says 'Bye'.
Geesh! I feel as if she's just using me for information. It's like Wham, Bam, thank you Madam.

My mom will be the next invitation NAZI. I am sure she will call all of her list the day after I send them--and freak out if anyone does not get them within a day!!

Uggh, my mom is still trying to add people to the list! Did I tell you my RSVP date was May 15?? I made some other reply cards with June 1 dates, but I told her it's too late to send them out.
I wish my mom would call people! I have to do it..

My family was the same exact way! My mom would call and ask then my dad would call later that day for the numbers! This went on for 1 month and I went nuts. I thought my promise to email evryone once a week would stop it but nope.

my FMIL was the same way...thank goodness that part is over!!! everyday she would ask me 'did you get any responses' yet she would be the one who put the mail up in our room and knew damn well that we had responses. one time she even held it up to the light to peel through!!!
