i feel like a horrible person

I'm sorry. I don't know what to say. Here are some hugs for you!

Do not feel like a horrible person! We had 9 no shows, 3 never even called or anything.
And two of my BM's and DH's parents did not even give us a card!

Don't feel horrible. You're being honest with yourself and your feelings, and at the same time admitting that you realize what is and isn't the important parts of the day.

Don't feel like a horrible person... while we don't have weddings to 'make money', it was extremely rude and disrespectful for guests not to show up at all and (IMO) tasteless for people to show up with nothing, not even a card. The same thing happened to me (and all brides, I'm sure) and eventually the hurt lessens.

How am I going to handle it? I am not sending a thank you to the folks that didn't give us anything. While I know many brides will disagree with me, I think treating them to a very special day was thank you enough.
