FI just got off the phone with his dad and I now have yet another person staying at my house for the wedding! I have 10 people staying now!! Last time I checked I wasn't suppose to be providing the room and board for everyone! Am I just being bit&%y? I'm already being kicked out of my bedroom for this and will have to sleep in the living room. I may have to go to a hotel room the night before just to try to get some rest from everyone!!!!!

imo...youre being way too nice ...
your house should be empty except for you and your bp is you want them close by for a girls night
please please get rid of them so you can enjoy your night and get ready in your ownhouse

i feel your pain...we have 5 out-of-towners staying with us (besides the usual my mom dad and bro) and ONE bathroom!!
plus moh and bms in the morning, hair and makeup people...omg

yeah that's my other thing - all of the girls are coming to the house in the AM - I'll have to get rid of everyone then anyway!! They're going to love that!!! UGH!!!!!

I feel your pain...but since I have no problem being a B*tch I told everyone no...the only people sleeping in my house are my FH and son. all others will have to either use the hotel or another family members house.

Agreed! Right before your wedding is a special time- I would want to enjoy it as much as possible with out all the craziness all the guests would bring.

Oh, no. I can understand that you feel like you can't kick anyone out but honestly? Would you consider treating yourself to a nice suite somewhere near your house for the peace and quiet and there you can surround yourself with whomever you want? Its just a though.

We have a small co-op... and I REFUSED to have anyone stay at our house the night before the wedding. I want to sleep in my bed and not have a house full of people the morning of the biggest day of my life. I'll be a big enough nervous wreck!

girl, you'd better put your foot down! you should NOT have the added stress of having guests stay over (even if they're family) on YOUR wedding day! I was adamant with my family and made it perfectly clear to them that I DID NOT want ANYONE staying at my place for the wedding! It would have been just way to chaotic and stressful!! I just wanted to wake up, have a lite breakfast, shower at my leisure, have my makeup and hair girls there, and thats it!! You should really tell everyone to understand that this is YOUR day, and you don't need the added stress of house guests.!

reconsider and get hotel rooms for your family members instead
it might cost more but think about this.....if ((knock on wood)) something happens while putting on your dress (like lipstick on the gown or such) you will want to be at home where there is a ready supply of cleaners , pins, hairspray
if you are in a hotel getting ready you might forget things and then need them

I am using the Inn at Plainview, for my wedding and a friend of mine is using them as well. Check them out. Going Nutty recommended the hotel to me and my GF

I can feel your pain. I have about 6 relatives (so far) staying with us from overseas, but I absolutely refused to give up my room!
